I’m a writer, editor and content strategist specializing in business, finance and wealth. My freelance work has been published in various global and regional publications, which are listed below. I also have experience working with companies and professional organizations to create custom content.

I worked in journalism for more than 15 years. Before freelancing, I was a reporter at Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal for 10 years. I started out in New York City covering technology, then moved to Hong Kong in 2007 to cover the Asian asset management industry. I moved back to the New York City area in 2015.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing countless CEOs, investors, economists, entrepreneurs, small business owners, scientists, engineers, fashion designers, artists and more. I love learning about new industries and markets and enjoy the analytical aspect of business journalism. It’s also great fun to meet interesting people from all walks of life and to learn from them!

I graduated from Pomona College in Los Angeles, California, with a B.A. in English literature. After graduation, I lived in mainland China for two years where I worked on a several guidebooks and wrote articles about food and culture. I speak Mandarin Chinese.
